Canada vs Spain
This will result in a beautiful coming together of artists and creativity hosted by a completely neutral country.
So I’m back in Vienna after a months travels and knee deep in **it. The day I arrive back theres a Graffiti jam for the late great Levin and then the next day the Carhartt Big Geezers Tour rolls in! Then while enjoying the paintings of World famous artists such as Jeremy Fish and London Police as well as many others, I start getting calls that the Canadians and Spaniards have arrived!
One after another the artists have been arriving in Vienna. Some works were already at the gallery waiting on the doorstep and others have been brought over by hand. So far looking through them sitting around in the Gallery I am super impressed by the variety and skill level from all the artists. So far the count of artist submissions is up to 23! The concept was to have artists from Spain and Canada paint small affordable canvases and pit the countries against each other! However unlike some other countries this battle will end with no bloodshed or bad feelings, resentment or a “terror threat.” In contrast this will result in a beautiful coming together of artists and creativity hosted by a completely neutral country. The collaborations and connections people make through this show will most likely last a lifetime.
As mentioned there is a huge amount of artists involved and a huge variety in styles making the production of the flyer incredibly difficult. Only four images were chosen to hopefully wet your pallet enough to intise you out to INOPERAbLE on Friday evening at 7pm for some drinks, Snips, Music and of course amazing ART. A side note, a number of the artists have traveled from Canada and Spain to be at the Vernissage to meet and great the Vienna locals.
So I hope to see you here Friday night,
