Broken Fingaz
June 28th, 2012
The Israeli crew, Broken Fingaz are currently in Vienna setting up their new show. The 4 guys from Haifa are reunited again for the first time since 3 months to build up the works in the gallery. The comic inspired works have a touch of Faile, a touch of Barry Mcgee, and alot of old Stan Lee Marvel. The works are mainly on found wood but a couple inks will also be available. In preparation for the show, Broken Fingaz painted their first piece in the streets of Vienna entitled “Chase the Devil”. The work is inspired by Vienna’s long history of myths involving the Devil, and the Black Plague in 1679 which killed an estimated 76,000 people. The artists plan to paint a few more productions while they are here so stay tuned for updates…
The show opens Thursday June 28th, at 19h.
